Tips | Fashion Tips
People devote entire books to color theory. Here's a three step plan to finding the shades that bring out the most beautiful you.
First Fashion Tips- UNDERSTAND WARM VS. COOL It's intuitive: Warm colors are the stuff of fire and sunlight- red, yellow and orange. Cool colors are blue, green or violet. Given common hair, eye and skin color combos, most people looks best in shades from one side of the spectrum or the other
Second Fashion Tips- TAKE YOUR COLOR TEMPERATURE Metallics are a fast way to type yourself. Warm types look best in gold jewelry; cool types shimmer in silver. To test, buy foil wrapping paper in gold and in silver and hold a piece of each below your face. Which one brings out the glow?
Third Fashion Tips- GET TONAL Yes, blue is always cooler than orange. But you can find cooler or warmer tones within a color group that work for you. For example, red is cooler if it's closer to violet, warmer if closer to orange. A warm pink is peachy pink, a cool pink is more mauve.
If you respond to cool... Chances are your skin has more blue undertones and burns easily. Your makeup bag boasts a pearly eye shadow or two. What to wear? Along with blues and greens, opt for black, gray and deep gem tones. The best reds on you will be blue-reds like eggplant or burgundy.
If warm colors give you that glow... It's likely that your hair and eyes could be described as "earthy" and that the foundation you buy is more yellow-than pink-based. What to wear? Those rich spice colors all work for you, as does gold jewelry. Pastels will tend to make your skin look sallow or clash with your hair.
If your not getting a reading... You're neutral, or something like it, since your skin tone falls somewhere between the extremes of blue and yellow undertones. What to wear? You have a lot of flexibility with color, but when in doubt it sometimes helps to judge a hue by how it brings out your eyes, not your skin.

Fashion Tips:
It's not that some women look good in clothes and others don't. It's about choosing cuts and styles that are right for you.
First Fashion Tips - IDENTIFY YOUR BODY TYPE You know that voice in your head? The one saying you can't wear those jeans because your hips will look gargantuan in them? Here's where you listen to it, just a little bit, and get a handle on where you fall in the basic range of shapes. Curvy like Salma Hayek? Petite like Eva Longoria? Get ready to compare.
Second Fashion Tips - ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE Time to let the angst go. If you didn't have your shape, you'd have another. And they all require some specialized attention to what to wear and how. Check out our celebrity case studies to learn the basics of silhouette and proportion: things like when you need a flare at the hem, a V-neck instead of a crew, or the distraction of ruching or beads up top.

Corset | Fashion Corset
Outerwear Corset Crochet Pattern The corset has been used for centuries as an undergarment. The historic practice of accentuating the feminine waist has made a comeback- this time as outerwear. Similar to the corsets appearing on runways this season, this corset is meant to be worn much like a belt, over a tailored stretch shirt or a skimpy tank top.
Not only does it define the waist, it gently flattens the tummy, providing the flat abs one may not have the time or discipline to acquire at the gym. This corset is crocheted over boning by using a mix of standard and Tunisian crochet techniques. The rows of Tunisian Crochet serve to provide firm structure, while the rows of standard crochet not only provide textural counterpoint, but provide openness and ventilation to the design as well.
